1) CHOOSE A DESTINATION

Our guiding job starts here: perhaps you’ve already decided where you would like to travel, or maybe you’re still deciding what destination will suit you or your group best. Either way, we’ve got you.

There are many factors that will determine what trip style and destination is best for you:

  • Are you travelling alone, as a couple, or with a group of your riding buddies?

  • What time of year works best for you?

  • Are you looking for epic mountain rides or a more casual cycling experience?

All of these question will help you narrow down to your ideal destination.

2) BOOKING

Once you’ve decided on your destination, it’s time to book your trip! If you choose one of our Wild Rock Signature Series vacations, you can follow our easy-to-use booking process on our website. If you choose to build a Custom Itinerary for your group, we will work with you to provide your group with a customized information and booking page.

After booking your trip, you can expect to receive a booking confirmation in your inbox right away. Within the next 3 business days, you will receive a confirmation of payment and an itemized invoice from our booking manager.

This is a good time to start looking into flights for your trip. There are many good options for booking flights online, however if you would like to work with a travel agent, the staff at Carlson Wagonlit are super helpful and familiar with our itineraries.

3) PRE-TRIP

After booking and prior to departure, you can expect a few different emails:

  1. The first arrives approximately 3 months prior to departure. This email contains our Trip Information Package, a rider survey and our travel waiver. Our rider survey collects details about your riding experience, bike rental needs (if required), insurance information, emergency contact and basic medical information. This information helps us to ensure that our trips run smoothly. It also allows us to be prepared in the event of an emergency.

  2. The second email is sent out approximately 2 weeks prior to departure. The email contains information regarding our shuttle schedules, airport and pick-up information, guide contact information and, depending on the trip, a detailed riding itinerary.
